This year , like we do every year for independence day at VRT 77 . The tablers were divided into 3 different teams and we  visited the  3 schools for Independence Day celebrations .
Independence Day celebrations are always special at VRT-77. The 68th independence day was no exception . The whole day of events was well planned in advance prior to the 15th of August.

All the three RTI schools of VRT-77 were covered, the VBV( Vasanth Balla Vidyodaya) school, the Karasa municipal school and the Marikvalasa School. A total of 600 students in the three schools and staff were greeted and the Independence Day messages were conveyed after formal flag hoisting at all the three schools. The children and staff at all three schools greeted us with warmth,march past, patriotic songs and dances.
All the 600 children were given sweets, stationery kits and crayons . A  special thanks to  Tr. Ramayya , Tr. Adarsh , Tr. Inder and Tr. Sandeep Reddy Tadi for their contributions  . The Chairman Tr. Rajesh addressed the school children with an inspiring speech that motivated them .
The smiles on the faces of the children were something to see…priceless!!!
By 10 AM all of us assembled at Hotel Daspalla for a lovely breakfast and some amazing bonding over a fellowship. Post breakfast , we visited the blind school at Rushikonda where we distributed sweet packets to the students there . Apart from the sweets distribution we also got to witness a demonstration of how to write in Braille on Braille slates . The teacher wrote out a word and called out a student and asked him to find out what he had written and he answered with precision . It was absolutely amazing to see how smart these kids are . All in all , we finished the service with feelings of immense joy and satisfaction .

Dr. Sunita , Sq. Leg Raghu’s wife is in town in vizag after a very long time and it happened to be her birthday today , a perfect reason for a fellowship . So , tablers got together at their residence to celebrate her birthday with a cake cutting and some chit chat .

It was Twinkler Divjot’s birthday on the Wednesday , the 13th of August . It was celebrated with a cake cutting in his honor . Chairman Tr. Rajesh , Secretary Tr. Sandeep Reddy and Twinklers convener Tr. Adarsh Joshi along with Divjot’s parents Sq. leg Novi and Tina cut a cake for him . He was overjoyed abnd thanked everyone at VRT 77 for making his day that much more special .

At VRT 77 , over the years we have realized that simple fellowships increase the bonding among tablers and ladies more than any other fellowship . After chai pe charcha at Barista , its chaat pe charcha at Tr. Sandeep Chowdary’s residence Twinkler Dhruv , Tr. Sandeep Chowdary’s son donned the hat of a quizmaster and asked the tablers some very intriguing trick questions which left most of us stunned  (haha) . It was an all 4 tables fellowship so it gave us an opportunity to interact and mingle with tablers and ladies of other tables , It was a fellowship   where in we relished different kinds of snacky food like vaada pav , paani puri , bhel puri and various kinds of chaat . We just couldnt stop eating and the everyone were constantly chit chatting and keeping the mood alive . ,Tr . Vikrant from Singapore Round Table 1 was also with us and it happened to be his birthday so we had cut a cake in his honour . All in al a wonderful fellowship that will be remembered by all of us forever .

On the 4th of August 2014 , an organ donation awareness program was conducted which was attended  by Tablers of VRT 77. National President Tr.Deepak Menda also graced the occasion   and it was organized by CARE hospitals . The chief guest for the day was Shri.Dr . Kamineni Srinivas Rao , The union health minister .

We are very fortunate in life to have everything we want and we feel very good within ourselves when we do our bit to give back to society . Tablers of VRT 77 got together on a sunday afternoon ,10th August 2014 for the first community service of the year . We had donated a walker and about a 100 sweet packets to the inmates of the missionaries of charity . A good deed on the festive occasion of Rakshabandan .

Tablers woke  up early in the morning for a walk on the beach road in support of organ donation . A sumptuous breakfast followed later at Sq. Leg Sandeep Chitra and Rajini’s house  .

Dinner fellowship at waltair club on 7th August 2014 . A lot of chit chat bonding and fun ..We discussed varied topics from tabling and outside tabling as well . Tablers felt nostalgic discussing  about their college days .
